How usage works
Repaint gives you a weekly amount of editing to work with. Your usage covers everything the AI does for you: generating pages, importing content, creating images, and making edits. Heavier work uses more, lighter work uses less.
Your weekly allowance resets seven days after you subscribe. Free and Premium both get their own weekly limits, with Premium's being significantly larger.
Simple marketing sites fit in the Free tier. Most people making full business websites require the premium tier and never hit the limit. Usage based credits are only needed for rebuilding large sites, generating lots of custom images, or prolonged heavy editing for hours.
Credits for extra usage
On the premium tier, you can buy usage based credits to keep editing after you hit your usage limit. Credits are measured in dollars and only get used after you've run out of your weekly subscription usage.
You can buy credits one-off, or turn on auto-refill to automatically top up when you run low. Either way, you can set a spending limit so you're never surprised by a bill. Credits never expire.
Getting the most from your plan
A few tips to manage usage wisely:
- Avoid generating large quantities of images unless necessary.
- Group multiple small changes into a single update. Repaint can move through them more efficiently.
- Migrate large sites in chunks, rather than all at once. It's better to fix problems before you have hundreds of pages to update.
FAQ
You'll still have full access to your sites, you just can't ask Repaint to make new edits until your weekly allowance resets. On Premium, you can buy credits to keep editing without waiting.
No. Credits you buy never expire. They only get used after your weekly subscription usage runs out, so anything left over stays on your account.
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings. There's no long-term contract, and cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period. If you have a custom domain, it will be disconnected from your site until you resubscribe.
